On behalf of Destination Gold Coast Consortium and its partners, we would like to thank you for purchasing within The Star Residences, Tower 1 and congratulate you on being a part of the first ever opportunity to live right in the heart of The Star Gold Coast’s world-class integrated resort on Broadbeach Island.

We are thrilled to announce that The Star Residences Tower 1, located in the Gold Coast’s premier integrated resort, has proved to be extremely attractive to the property purchaser with $185 million contracted sales achieved in the first 14 weeks. The Star Residences, Gold Coast is the one of fastest selling residential projects in Queensland, and we thank you for your support.

The sales success of The Star Residences has enabled commencement of construction tender proceedings with a number of Australian builders. This is an exciting milestone for the project as the development team strive to deliver the next phase of the integrated resort.

We are also excited to announce that our consortium partner, Far East Consortium, has been announced as the winner of the Inaugural 2017 AIH Green Space Urban Award for their Upper West Side development in Melbourne. The development features the largest and most intensive roof garden, covering over one acre of common space for the residential occupants.

Gold Coast Property Market Update – On the Rise

The Gold Coast property market has recorded one of the highest growth rates in Australia, with Broadbeach a star performer, posting an 18 per cent increase in apartment values in just 12 months.

Data from independent property consultants Urbis shows the value of apartments in Broadbeach jumped to an average $530,000 in the six months to June 2017, four times more than the average growth rate for Gold Coast apartments of 4.3 per cent per annum over the same period.

Urbis senior consultant Lynda Campbell says Broadbeach and the Gold Coast’s upward trajectory has been underpinned by a high level of investment in local infrastructure and development, population growth and low vacancy rates.

About $1.5 billion in new projects are either complete, planned or recently underway in Broadbeach alone, including the $670 million redevelopment of Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and transformation of Broadbeach Island – the home of The Star Gold Coast.

Two stages of the Gold Coast’s light rail system are now complete, to the value of $2.1 billion, creating public transport links from Broadbeach to Brisbane, with a third stage being planned to allow passengers to travel from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads.
